As most of you who know me personally might know, I have a daughter and I am a single mother. That means I'm doing it all on my own. Unfortunately, this means that I'm taking on more than one job. I work with a place called Home Helpers, where I'm a home health aide, as well as my most recent efforts to bring money in: Avon representative. I also collect cans along the road side, and this weekend I plan on selling ever scrap of clothes that doesn't fit me or my daughter along with icy pops and drinks.

In light of my Avon, I recently added an option that I hope to help me sell more by getting my Avon information out to more people. Older mothers may be familiar with scents like Sweet Honesty and Odyssey. My personal favorites are Rare Pearl and Rare Gold. They both have such mellow but rich scents. If you're not satisfied with any of the items you purchase, you can easily return them and you will be credited. If you have an email address, you can also subscribe to the Avon site for updated sales that happen each campaign.

I DO NOT SEE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, INCLUDING CREDIT CARD! The Avon company themselves deals with such information, giving safe shopping for those who use credit cards. If you don't have a credit card and don't know how to use your check online (like myself), there are other options like GreenDot by Master Card that offers a refillable credit card that has your name on it, they send it through the mail, but you can use right after you activate over the phone. I add, out of precaution, there is a $4.95 monthly fee to the GreenDot card, which I think is much better than a credit card's late fees and APR that they charge on others.
